Meet John
Since I was a young man I’ve had a love for my country, and as a God fearing man I learned that I have a responsibility to preserve this gift of Liberty. My ancestors came from England as early settlers in 1633 and founded my hometown of Wallingford Connecticut in 1670, and one my ancestors, Lyman Hall, was a Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Their fire and passion for Liberty has always been an inspiration for me to one day serve my country. That day has come.
In my adult life I dedicated 40 years to being a Strength and Conditioning Coach where I trained athletes, both physically and mentally to reach their full potential. My techniques empowered them to be Olympians, Olympic Medalists, first round draft picks as professional athletes and positioned them to earn college scholarships that helped pave their way to successful lives.
I’ve been married to my beautiful wife Nicole for 29 years and together we have raised a family of 5 children.
As a concerned American and a parent I have believe that our nation’s future and our children’s and their generations future is at risk and therefore I am running for Congress to build a stronger America.
America today needs strong leaders and I will work to insure that my children’s generation, and generations to come will continue to enjoy the God given rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness as have been bequeathed by our Founders. -John D. McBride

America is the one nation in the world, past and present, who’s constitution places the core principle of power directly in the hands of its citizenry rather than in those of dictators, elites, or monarchs. Radicals chant Power to the People, when in America, the people have always been the power.

I find wisdom and inspiration from the scriptures, but also from reflecting on quotes from those who founded America… the great leaders and statesmen who came before us. They gave hope to their posterity, a mandate to preserve this experiment in self governance, and dire warnings of apathy and neglect. They have challenged me to live up to their standard of leadership and lit a fire in me to run Congress.
